Inquiry - My Epic Body System Presentation

In term 1, my class and I learnt about body systems and now in term 2 we could choose how we wanted to present what we have researched, so I made an awesome mobile about the integumentary system. The integumentary system is simply just your skin, hair, nails and your sweat glands. If you don’t know what a mobile is look at this picture of me presenting my work.
I'm really proud of my work because it is very different to everybody else's and it was the first time I  created the mobile but it turned out great.

Music - The Arts Festival

The arts festival is a group of kids specially taught by our music teacher Mrs Davison. There are 14 schools performing as well as us at the Bruce Mason Center. At the end of the show we sing Aotearoa together.
Over the past lunchtimes, a cluster of approximately 30 students practiced a dance, we dance to “Life in Sunshine” by Jamie Mcdell, with an added in rap about our multi cultural school.
I’m really happy with our performance, and hope everybody else is too.

Our arts festival group consists of a maximum of 17 schools and our teacher Mrs Davidson. The arts festival group will be singing and dancing to the song Life in Sunshine with an added in rap about our multi-cultural  differences. I believe joining the arts festival was a great choice for me to make because the arts festival allows me to share my feelings through singing and dancing and its so much fun.

Arts festival is a cluster of schools who have joined a group. We are all performing at the Bruce Mason center on the 26 of June in front of more than 2000 people. My school is doing a dance to “Life in Sunshine” by Jamie Mcdell. We all  get to wear clothes that represent our  country. We had a really hard time choreographing it all but we're finally finished.  I bet we're all terrified for the big night. I feel sorry for our amazing music teacher Mrs Davidson. She gave up all of her lunchtime and so did we, she is tired and so are we. - By GYPSY

In Term Two, 28 awesome student in year 6 chose to do a show in Week Eight in front of 2,000 people. We have practised so hard and so long it has been so tiring but fun. I think our awesome music teacher Mrs Davidson has worked really hard so I am really proud of her because she has had a lot of success. - by Tyllah-Rose

Reading - The Cupcake Club Series

Lately, I have been reading an awesome series called the Cupcake Club by Coco Simon. Bite into the lives of four cupcake crazed girls who all share a love for cupcakes. Join them on their journeys to fighting bullies, dealing with annoying brothers and running their own cupcake business. I love these books because of the humour and delicious cupcake recipes. I highly recommend these books to people who love to read friendship books and of course people who love cupcakes.
